The gorge is also known as 'The Valley of Invention'
This beautiful monument stands as one of the greatest symbols of where the Industrial Revolution started. Tourists have flocked here since 1779 to marvel at this extraordinary structure that dominates the small town that takes its name.
While there remember to visit the exhibition in the Iron Bridge Tollhouse.

The area has numerous great houses and parks that offer tremendous walks steeped in history. Weston Park is just 5.1 miles, 12 minutes drive from Teds. Set within 1,000 acres of Capability Brown parkland grounds.
Attingham Park, Shrewsbury SY4 4TP
An 18th century Regency mansion owned by the National Trust that offers relaxed walks through ancient woods and Attingham’s Deer Park.
Some, five miles of river meanders through the park, featuring beautiful stretches of the Severn and Tern, and the many ponds are a haven for wildlife, from ducks and swans to otters and dragonflies.
Ten museums in the Ironbridge gorge form part of the World Industrial Heritage. Your day must include a visit to the Blists Hill Victorian Town that includes Victorian shops, cottages and demonstrations of crafts.

Part of the Royal Air Force Museums. Includes the National Cold War Exhibition, displays of aircraft, iconic cars, models, tanks and the world’s oldest Spitfire.
Severn Valley Railway
The Severn Valley Railway is a standard gauge heritage railway in Bridgnorth just 15 miles away from Ted's Farm Camping.
It takes around 30 minutes to visit and experience this award winning heritage railway site and ride 16 miles through to Bewdley in Worcestershire.
Visitors can step back in time and experience the golden age of travel with journeys behind original steam trains and heritage diesel locomotives. Discover beautifully restored original stations along the line, plus fascinating towns and villages.
